Volunteer with SAR
SAR values the community and encourages its Members to help “give back” whenever possible.
Nothing shows you care more than actually taking action. The SAR Community Outreach Committee researches and develops relationships with local charitable organizations that have a need for volunteers. This committee plans at least one volunteer opportunity for SAR Members per month. From helping rehabilitate a home to serving at a food bank to cleaning up the American River Parkway, there is certainly something for everyone.
SAR is once again partnering up with our sister organization, AREAA Greater Sacramento, for this amazing volunteer event! Help us rehab an owner-occupied home in the Rancho Cordova Area and restore the residence to its former glory. Let’s improve lives and revitalize communities!
We need unskilled and skilled volunteers who are enthusiastic and wanting to help out. Rebuilding Together will provide all the tools and equipment needed for a great day.
